چکیده
Sonuç: Timpanoskleroz ve aterosklerozda, reaksiyon temel olarak ayn› yolu izler. Her iki hastal›kta gözlenen ultrastrüktürel de¤ifliklikler benzerdir ve her iki hastal›kta da cinsiyet fark› mevcuttur. Bu bulgular ile birlikte, aterosklerotik bireylerde timpanoskleroz görülme insidans›n›n normal popülasyona göre fazla olmas›; tüm vücut dokular›nda sklerotik dejenerasyona karfl› bir genetik-ailesel yatk›nl›¤›n varolabilece¤ini düflündürmektedir. Timpanoskleroz, bu genetik karakteristi¤in orta kulaktaki görüntüsü olabilir.
